Pork pies are traditionally served cold, which allows for the pastry to crisp and the filling to firm after baking. If you like a warm pork pie, we highly recommend our Traditional Cured Pork Pie, which is a northern-style pork pie that is delicious eaten either hot or cold.
Our Melton Mowbray style pork pie is an uncured pork pie with a decent kick of white pepper. It is reminiscent of the Melton Mowbray pork pies baked in the eponymous town in England. Our Traditional cured pork pie is made with cured pork and is slightly saltier with a more bacon / ham flavour. It is reminiscent of the more Northern-style pork pies found in Yorkshire and beyond that are often enjoyed warm directly from the local butchers.
