Extending my UK holiday

So far I’ve only had the back bacon, which was excellent ! I’m saving the scones and clotted cream for the weekend when I can share them with the house. I expect they will delight as well.

white pudding

I ordered both black and white pudding. the white was a 10 out of 10. How ever the black was disappointing and as an Irish guy I can only give it a 6 out of ten. It is very dry and not enough grain or meat like the white which was perfect.

Perfect Pork Pie

There were very detailed instructions on baking the pie and making the jelly which gave the option to add the jelly or not. It was hard to wait the several hours of cooking and cooling because the pie smell was unbelievable and a great memory of a real Melton pie.
It was worth every minute of the wait, congratulations, just perfect

Love the baps. That are just different from anything you find in the regular grocery store. So tasty on a Sunday morning with Jolly Posh bacon in them and a side of eggs and beans.

Had our first pasty - steak and stilton . Wonderful. Very fast shippers and using the free shipping is a great bonus . Box arrived within days , still frozen . Hard to choose what to try first but thoroughly recommend .

I have placed orders over the past 2-3 years. Always consistent quality, great packing, fast shipping. I'm gluten free so I have not tried the pies and sausage rolls but the sausages, the bacon, hubby's black pudding, are the BEST! Also happy with being able to order HP Sauce.

Pork pies are traditionally served cold, which allows for the pastry to crisp and the filling to firm after baking. If you like a warm pork pie, we highly recommend our Traditional Cured Pork Pie, which is a northern-style pork pie that is delicious eaten either hot or cold.

Our Melton Mowbray style pork pie is an uncured pork pie with a decent kick of white pepper. It is reminiscent of the Melton Mowbray pork pies baked in the eponymous town in England. Our Traditional cured pork pie is made with cured pork and is slightly saltier with a more bacon / ham flavour. It is reminiscent of the more Northern-style pork pies found in Yorkshire and beyond that are often enjoyed warm directly from the local butchers.
