After 19 years in the USA, I had accepted my fate: that a proper Irish sausage was something I’d only see again stepping off a plane back home. I grew up on Roscrea and Clonakilty sausages, and nothing here ever came close. Until now. Jolly Posh, you’ve delivered absolute gold at the end of the rainbow. These Irish recipe pork sausages are the real thing. The taste, the texture — one bite and I was instantly back in my family kitchen. Anyone who’s moved from Ireland knows the one thing missing from a proper mixed grill in the USA is the sausage. Easier get black and white puddings, irish bread and KG butter, but sausages, has been impossible, despite trying soooo many!! Everything else you can find but not them. Until now. You’ve completed the plate and restored balance to the universe.
I also ordered the black and white pudding which we’re saving for a St. Patrick’s Day gathering once the snow disappears and we can celebrate properly. Glad I got 2 packs of sausages!! American nacon is okay in a pinch. I fried the first batch and did the 2nd in the airfryer. Makes for amazing hot dog buns like back home!!

Jolly Posh products are better then I remember from living in New Zealand, Australia and England. Every breakfast now includes a Jolly Posh treat. One of my favs are these bangers. I stick them in the air fryer with a couple of hash brown patties for 15 minutes at 400 degrees F, flip them once, and breakfast is done.

Each pack contains ten skinny butcher’s style bangers, lovingly made to my time-honoured, classic chipolata recipe. They are skinnier than our other bangers, and cook up nice and quickly for when you or the children are especially hungry.
They are easy to cook – pop in the pan, sizzle on the grill, or bake in the oven… until plump, juicy and bursting with flavour.
