If you like British bacon, you'll love this back bacon

An hour after a box arrived from Jolly Posh Foods, I was eating two bacon baps -something that I've not had since the early 1970s. What a treat! The Baps are perfect and tasted as if they'd come from the oven a couple of hours before I ate them.

Our Bacon Butty Box provides all the hard-to-find-in-the-U-S-A items for you to perfectly replicate the true taste of a proper Bacon Butty - and not just once - there's enough in this Box to make a delicious 12 Bacon Butties!

Our Bacon Butty Box ships frozen in a thermal cooler with dry-ice and ice packs. For best results, either freeze your bread or consume within four days upon arrival. All meat items are suitable for home freezing up to 6 months from the date of arrival.

What are the ingredients?

Our Bacon Butty Box comprises:

Back Bacon: Pork loin, water, salt, sugar, sodium nitrite, sodium ascorbate.

Flour-Dusted Soft White Baps: Enriched unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, canola oil, potato flour, sugar, sea salt, yeast, dough conditioner (enriched wheat flour, ascorbic acid, enzymes).

Contains: Wheat.

Where can I find the nutritional information?

The Bacon Butty Box includes both back bacon and soft white bap. The nutritional information for our back bacon is listed separately on the product page. 

How do I cook this product? 

For best results, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and use within 7-10 days. Do not microwave. Our back bacon is pre-sliced and easy to cook:

  1. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat
  2. Fry the slices for 3–4 minutes on each side
  3. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the bacon is cooked through

Alternatively, bake our back bacon on a baking tray in a pre-heated oven at 375F for approximately 15 minutes, turning occasionally.

Does this product come frozen? How do I store it?

Yes, our bacon is shipped frozen to preserve freshness and quality. It can be stored in your home freezer up to the expiry date listed on each package, typically at least 6 months from arrival. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and use within 7-10 days.
