Bacon Butty

A bacon butty is a true classic. We like to eat ours in a fresh roll or a toasted English Muffin for a lovely treat anytime of day. This recipe can be easily embellished with the addition of an egg, some mushrooms, or whatever takes your fancy. A smooth cup of tea or coffee goes well with this one…
Serves 6
Ingredients:
- 2 packs, Back Bacon Rashers
- 6 Bread Rolls
Cooking Directions:
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan to a medium heat. Add the bacon and cook thoroughly to desired crispness. Turn often during cooking.
If you prefer, bake the bacon in a pre-heated oven at 350F for 20-25 minutes, turning once midway through.
Put a generous spread of salted butter onto the base of your favorite sandwich roll or toasted English Muffin. Add the cooked back-bacon. Done.
