Each Pudding is in an individual 12oz tube, yielding 10-12 portions. Traditionally eaten as part of a Full English or Irish Breakfast, our Black Pudding is also brilliant in inventive Chef-inspired dishes for both lunch and dinner.

Our Black Pudding is easy to cook, and sizzles for 3-4 minutes on each side in a pan.

Have been buying this for some time now, its the closest to buying fresh back in England, and we stay there for a few months each year, so we should know! Cooks really well and is not too dry, very tasty. Thank you for bringing alittle bit of home to us here in the USA.

Something different for the flat top grill

I had family in town for Thanksgiving. Lucky for me I had several volunteers to help prepare dinner. As a result I decided to use my stash of Black Pudding, Bangers, Rashers, and White Pudding on the flat top grill for breakfast. It was simply amazing. Most of the folks have traveled to Ireland or England and your products brought back many great memories. Outstanding service, I am grateful.

Absolutely loved it, now working through our second order and my husband says it is as good if not better than what we used to buy in the UK, Never been able to have black pudding since we left the UK 15 years ago so you can imagine our delight when we first purchased and tasted yours. As someone who used to eat Black Pudding raw I'd have to say yours was easily a 7 out of 10 and that's awesome because it's a long ass bus ride to Bury. I wet cure my own bacon but I'm almost retired so I had a lazy moment and ordered your back bacon, I grilled mine and again I'll give it a 7 out of 10, the same with the sausage. And yes I'll be ordering again. Overall 4.5 stars, well done.

It's good, but not quite as good as pudd from Bury.

First time I've had black pudd since I left our hallowed shores more than 10 years ago. I bought black and white pudding and this is good but, as with the white pudding, it needs a little more seasoning and spices to give it the kick that it has back home. It's like it's been "dumbed down" to appeal to the American market but I hope I'm wrong. Turn the seasoning dial a bit more to the right please and make us a black pudding worthy enough to make a Bury butcher sing...

We're working our way through the pile of lovely bangers, bacon and black pudding that Jolly Posh Foods sent. So far its been very good. Its the first proper Back Bacon wev've eaten in America and it was a real treat. The sausages are really good too, very like the better ones we got back home in England. The Cumberland was excellent if a tiny bit underspiced compared to how I remember them. The black pudding was ok but it is the weakest of the bunch of goodies. Now, I'm from the north of England and I used to buy BPs, fairly often, including from the Real Lancashire Black Pudding Company in Haslingden who'd won tons of awards, including from French pudding associations. So basically I have those beauties as my base line. By comparison, Jolly Posh Foods version was a little dry and lacked the fat in terms of quantity and particle size. Fat is definitely not everyone's taste I know, but it is an important factor. Maybe the FDA's rules dictate the limits of ingredients (it certainly does for many other foods which makes it hard to get the real stuff sometimes). Overall I'm chuffed and looking forward to more of my upcoming Sausage and Egg Butties, Toad-in-the-hole, Bangers and Mash, BLTs and Full Englishes.
